ABout the Author

Alice Allis (They/Them/Mx) is your average, run of the mill, Millennial queer: waiting for the end of the world, but planning to survive the apocalypse to spite their mother. Writing is their way to process inner thoughts, their experiences, and the world around them – it is a far healthier coping mechanism than their standard sense of dark humor.

Their debut book, Return To Sender: A Book of Poetry, Prose, and Otherwise Unsent Letters, was self-published on October 13, 2024. This publication won the 2025 Colorado Authors League Award for the Prose Collection category - exactly 9 months after it’s publication date.

Though they have called many cities ‘home,’ Alice currently lives in Colorado with their two cats. They can often be found sleeping, gardening, cooking, sleeping, and doing nerd shit. They love to explore and go on adventures with their partner and camera. Alice continues to write, and often shares new written and photographed pieces on their website and social media pages.

Alice is a Clinical Social Worker by trade, and Licensed Mental Health Therapist in practices. They specialize in experiences pertaining to human sexuality and gender, anxiety and stress management, and chronic illness.
